I apologise for the delayed reply but I have determined what has changed to break my fileserver mappings...

If I have the host name in the host and credentials tab, it breaks the fileserver mapping - which seems like odd behavior. If I remove the host details from the hosts and credentials tab and just have the fileserver mapping in the general section it works.

It wasn't like this in the past.

We just upgraded our Admin notebook to Windows 10 Pro - x64 version.
Upon opening Remote Desktop Manager 10.6.7.0 on the second monitor (HP EliteDisplay E231 – res 1920x1080), The RD Manager text/icons/etc is not sharp and is larger than before. This is the exact same monitor and resolution we had with Windows 8.1 on this same notebook and second monitor.
On the primary screen, same resolution as above, RD Manager is also not sharp either. The notebook is a Lenovo Thinkpad T440S. All other Windows applications, Microsoft Office, etc are sharp and do not have the same display issue.
Anyone else seen this and worked out how to rectify ?

I am trying to use the VMRC method. When I open properties for a VM i see 4 VMRC entries.

The first three does not open anything when they are selected, but the last does work. Except that it requires a VM ID, and that means I always must have an ID list ready to use this feature.
What to do?

Hello,

it is possible to read ip address from a database?
I have an MySQL database with a table where i match mac address to ip address.
The mac address is static but the ip address is dynamic and can change.
So it is possible befor i start for example an RDP session the the RDM is looking in to the database which ip matches at this time to the mac address?

I have a lot of connections with this problem and it has a knock on effect in that I cannot enter credentials to log on to any of these sites automatically.

Generally the certificate issues are something that I am having problems resolving in RDM. Are there any tutorials on getting things like HP iLO or the System Homepage working in RDM so that the automaic login also works seamlessly.

The remote desktop manager is crashing frequently.
We are using a sophos vpn connection. If I'm logged out there the application almost crashes before I can reconnect.

Quick question (and i'm probably missing something). How do you right click in the app once remotely connected? I know in some over software its done by a long press but that doesn't appear to work here?

I have a Question about external mode on google chrome. Is possible hide the option to save the password.
I configure to open in private session but the option to save the pass dont disappears.

I dont wanna that my users see the password of my web aplication

Hello again,

tried to change host availability to PING in fact of faster results instead of PORT.
The problem is on my version 10.6.7.0 that host check via ping shows every host as available even if it is not pingable.

Benoit, the latest (V3) connect/reconnects 2-3 times before opening up the window with "Peer connection was lost" before it finally connects. The white screen is also still there.

I will activate the session logs and send it to you, but since it's sensitive information, how do I get it to you?

When RDM loses the connection to the database on SQL Server, I get an exception prompt messagebox with the exception message:

&quotSystem.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)

I expect RDM to not show this messagebox, but automatically go into offline mode. And maybe display a taskbaricon message that RDM went in offline mode, because the connection to the SQL Server was lost.

well, color me stupid, you can indeed hide credentials from admins as you've described (allow reveal password for administrator and authorized users)

we just need to duplicate saving passwords while the "disable password saving (shared)" is turned on.

See attached screenshot. If I only have 1 credential entry selected the fields for Data Entry and Web are clickable. If I select more than one they grey out. I'm just trying to see if there is a way to do a batch conversion instead of doing each one individually.

Good Afternoon,
Firstly thanks for the great product. It's been a life changer for me to centralise all of the information about our infrastructure & systems. The way we've got it setup it's almost a fully fledged CMDB.
I am in the process of redefining the organisational structure for our IT Department Data Source and I am using variables to make my life easier. (see &quotDomain_Name.jpg&quot and &quotSite_Name.jpg&quot)
They appear to be working as expected When I open/execute a session, however when looking at the dashboard or information footer for a group/folder or a session the variable names are showing (e.g. $DOMAIN_NAME$) instead of resolving to the text I typed into the &quotName&quot text box in the domain type group/folder further up the hierarchy. (see &quotServer_Info.jpg&quot)
I tested that the variable resolves properly by using the parrot.bat example from online help.
And if a right click on a group/folder and select view then the variables resolve to the correct value I expected. (see &quotServer_View.jpg&quot)
Is this by design? Am I doing something wrong? Is there some setting on my client I need to change to get this to happen? Or have I stumbled across a bug?
