I think that RDM can't detect that Microsoft VPN was successfully opened. Can you confirm this? If the Microsoft VPN icon doesn't turn to a green &quotplay&quot button in the RDM tree, then that would be the issue.

Devolutions has grown exponentially since the release of Remote Desktop Manager 1.0.
A lot has changed over the years, from moving into larger (and larger) locations to exponentially increasing our roster of great team members to adding more innovative products. The truth about our products is that we offer one core product, which has been followed by many sub-products. Remote Desktop Manager has been around from the very beginning and it remains central to what Devolutions is all about. Our other products are directly related to the RDM or are derivatives of it. To help you understand the difference between our various solutions, here’s a quick overview:

Hi Michael,

After some test with the engineer department, we found that focus problem occurs only with Internet Explorer Browser. We do not have that problem with Chrome and Firefox. As a Workaround could you try using Chrome or Firefox as your navigator.

Markus,

I have tried unchecking that, but it does not change anything.
However in a different thread I noticed David telling us that you guys are developing a replacement for MS RDP.
That might change a lot. Is there any news on that topic?

Hi!
I want to use some custom icon related to SAP (I do not find any SAP icon into the default list)
I observed that all the image of RDM are locatel indo the folder: RemoteDesktopManager\Images\Icons
It is correct to insert here the custom image I want to use for SAP Logon Sessions, for example ?
If I share the RDM data source with more than one PC. These custom icon are also shared or have to be present on all PC I use ?

Topic "RDM not "clickable" / losing focus / no reaction" a message from dcapilla

Hello,

RDM ist losing focus / does not react sometimes after a while.
Taskmanager says &quoteverything ok&quot, so the process does not hang, but
if i click anything in RDM, no clicks are recognized - I have to end the process
and start RDM again.

Anyone else has this issue?
It's not only me with the problem. My colleagues also have this issue.

RDM: Newest 64bit version (but older versions did show the same problem)
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise 64 - 1611

Topic "Getting 401 errors instead of 2FA challenge" a message from Neonsun

DVLS 4.0.6.0, RDM 12.0.8:

Trying to enable 2FA for our administrators. Configuring and validating the 2FA for a user works fine (DUO and Google Auth both tested), but when we attempt to connect RDM to the DVLS server, it just throws a 401 error instead of presenting the 2FA challenge. For Duo, we were able to bypass it by removing the 2FA requirement on user (we suspected it was just a problem with our Duo implementation), so we tried to enable Google Authenticator instead, but the same issue happens there. Now we don't really have any rollback option except modifying the backend database directly (removing the 2FA details from the SecurityKey column XML data). Any idea what we might be missing here?

Did anything change recently with this functionality? I'm running 12.0.8.0 and noticed I can't get &quotTile Horizontal/Tile Vertical&quot under the window tab to show up no matter what I do. Used to use this all the time for multiple SSH sessions.

Hello,
Could you please run the PowerShell script attach to this post to compare two AD accounts?
Please use one AD accounts that currently works with the one that doesn't work.
image
It will be easier to compare these two accounts if you sort the results on the Attribute column.
image
Could you please send us the result at support@devolutions.net?
For your information, I have found this PowerShell script here http://pleasework.robbievance.net/howto-easily-compare-ad-attributes-between-users/

Topic "Migrating RDM from one computer to another" a message from STGdb

Good morning. I am moving to a new system and I wanted to migrate my RDM over to it. I was using Windows 7 before and now I'm running Windows 10. I do have a copy of my previous PC directories. I was and still am using RDM 12.0.8.0 on both systems and the directory structure is the same on both systems (for the user account, profile and Windows OS structure). is it possible to move all of my RDM settings from the old system to the new one?

With RDM, I have a local data source and a shared remote SQL data source. I exported the RDM &quotoptions&quot and imported them into the new install on the new OS. I also copied over the following files from the old system to the new one:

Connections.db
Connections.log
Connections.xml
Credentials.rdt
RemoteDesktopManager.cfg

I am missing the local data source info (I exported that and can just import the data into the new install) but I also am missing both my RDM Playlists and SQL data source Favorites (not sure if I'm missing anything else yet). Can you point me to where this information is stored (can I copy those files over to the new system also)? Is there a recommended set of files/registry settings to migrate to a new PC?

BTW - maybe that would be a good feature request (if it isn't there already). With &quotshared&quot data sources, maybe have RDM office &quotshared&quot program settings as well? Kind of like a group policy for RDM settings and configurations.

Thanks in advance,
STGdb
