Hi
I'm having trouble understanding credentials, but am sure this is really simple...
We have multiple servers that all use the same username/password/domain, and all I want to do is store this information somewhere so when I go to log in to one of these servers it automatically logs in.
Everything I've tried still brings up the RDM Credentials Dialog box when I double click the server. I've tried putting the credentials in Root settings, as well as trying to use the embedded Keepass plugin, always with the same result.
It works fine if I set the username and password for the individual server (in properties), but as there are over 20 of these, every time my password changes I have to update each of them individually which is a right pain in the arse!
I think I'm confusing the purpose of the software, which looks like it might be for assigning extra log-ins to users from an administrator's point of view? I'm not an administrator, just a user who has to access 20+ servers regularly with the same credentials.
And I have tried reading the manual, but a search for the word 'credentials' brings up 700+ results and so far I haven't found the answer...

Hallo, ich habe das Problem, dass ich im Dashboard unter den Einträgen die Breite der Spalte von "Small Image" nicht anpassen kann und das Standardmäßig bei mir sehr sehr breit ist.
Wie kann ich das zurücksetzen bzw. beheben?

Hello,

when using Google Chrome for example there's a loading window in foreground, even when you switch to another tab.
It is possible to restrict the loading windows to the current tab? So when switching to another tab the window should stay in the background.

I know that is possible to right click and select disable, but that's only for the current session. Or is it possible to disable the windows for all sessions?

Hi,

I can connect to the remote PC, and I can use the mouse.

From time to time, after opening a new window in the remote PC, the mouse buttons are not longer operative.

I can see the screen , I can move to mouse, but clicking on a button doesn't seem to produce any result.

If I open a TeamViewer session to the same remote PC, I can work normally.

In other words, it is not a problem of the remote PC freezing.

Closing the sesion and opening it again, does not solve the problem.
Re-booting the remote PC, fixes the problem.

Hello,

we want to use STRG + W to close a session, like you know it from modern web browsers.

We set up the keyboard shortcut in the settings:

But the only thing that's working is to set up as global hotkey. The disadvantage is that this setting is system wide, so it breaks the hotkey in other programs like Google Chrome.

Je confirme que les réglages que vous proposez sont plus efficaces et l'affichage dans l'onglet est bien plus fluide. La position de RDP (FreeRDP 7.0) après RDP (FreeRDP) dans la liste déroulante laisse à penser qu'il s'agit de la version la plus récente. D'où mon erreur.

Could you try to disable the local cache and then, delete your 2 entries.
To do so, go in File -> Data Sources -> Edit -> Advanced tab and select Disable in the Caching mode dropdown.
When this is done, please try to delete your 2 entries.

i use the Mobaxterm since a while in RDM and it works... the problem is, i can NOT add new MobaXterm sessions. So why should i tick the MobaXterm add-on under the Installed add-ons? it doesn't makes sense. But yes, when i ticked it on, i can create new sessions for Mobaxterm.

I use a lot off add-ons, but with the current add-on manager under Installed Add-on, except MobaXterm, no add-ons are ticked on and all are working.
So the new Add-Manager is not working as expected... i hope this will fixed soon..

So why should i enable add-ons when the new strategy is to provide ALL add-ons with RDM.

We've added a new &quotdomain search field&quot box in 1Password (web). You will need to enter the field you want to use for the domain. If your field in 1Password is called &quotdomain&quot, then entering &quotdomain&quot should work.

This will be available in RDM 2019.1.37.0.

i have a user that every few weeks all his UI is changing (tree removed, no ribbon, etc) and i reset for him every time,
is there a way to lock the UI to a certain position and display so the user will not be able to change it ?

Hi,

Remote PC is runing Wayk Now (installed using 32 bit .msi installer file).

After re-starting the remote system I cannot connect using Wayk Now.

I am getting a strange message asking for a username and password that I am not aware off.

I have to start Wayk Now manually on the remote system, for connection to work succesfully.

Wayk Now service is running all the time....

Is is necessary to run Way Now as a start-up program (in Windows 7) or running the service is enough?

I've tried going to 2019.1.17 still having issues although a different issue.

Now when a user goes to login it does all the duo stuff and they accept the push it says can not connect to datasource.

It also emails me the following errors, not sure what the difference as to each one i get.

I've had to roll it back again.

Hi there

I'm also having similar trouble to the users above.. I'm using client version 2019.1.9.0 64-bit.
I have altered the section in the .cfg file with my credentials for our proxy but i cannot get it to work.

If i select &quotuse system proxy&quot i assume that means it'll pick up whatever proxy is set in our internet options.. Is this correct? Or does it only pick up a proxy set through netsh?
When selecting &quotsystem proxy&quot it then errors saying i must provide a username etc, well then why is the user/password fields grayed out? It's demanding information and not giving me a way to enter that information?

So I selected custom and entered our details, but I am still not having any luck.
One of my associates registered a free account some time ago and was provided a serial number for offline use with that account, so he's never had this trouble, but when I registered I wasn't provided a serial. Is it still possible to get an offline serial for the free version?
