Thank you very much - I understand the issue with having to monitor the form for changes and then committing the changes on loss of focus on the session or session disconnection.
Thanks for getting back to me

Hello,
Could you try to execute the macro in Notepad with the password in clear text in the macro and with the $PASSWORD$ variable.
Let us know the results of both tests.
Best regards,
After upgrade RDM to 12.0.2.0 problem has been resolved.
Sessions now works.
Thanks
Now I'm waiting on new 12.0.3.0 where ssh tunnel to RDM data source will works.
Problem: When a user makes a lot of RDP connections and then later needs to close those connections, they need to log off and then close each individual tab. There is an option to close the tab on disconnect, however if the RDP session is disconnected in an unwanted manner (network issue, remote logoff, etc.) the tab also closes, which is not preferred because then the user may lose track of what connections were supposed to be open when they return to work.
Suggestion: Add option to existing "Keep tab page option on disconnect" setting for something like "Passive Only" or "True except Log Off" where the tab will stay open if disconnected in an unwanted manner, but will close the tab if the user performs an action like Log Off. This will save the user from a lot of annoying tab closing.
Thanks.
Unfortunately 12.0.2 is also crashing for no reason. Are you able to catch the unhandled exception to a log? Or send me a debuggable executable, so I can attach VS to it on crashing and get the exception?
Since a few version ago (version 11) I also regularly get error pop when trying to connect to a new RDP session "Failed to reconnect to your remote session. Please try to connect again." (see attachment). In earlier versions I didn't get this error. Also my colleagues don't get these. Sometimes I need to try several times before being able to connect. Maybe it's related, that the session looses connection for a moment, RDM tries to reconnect and then runs into this error, unable to handle. For reference, I reinstalled Windows a few weeks ago and this didn't solve this problem.
About a year ago, we launched Devolutions Server 3.0. Today, I’m pleased to announce that we’ve integrated many of your suggestions into the new and improved Devolutions Server 4.0!
What’s New in 4.0
Devolutions Server 4.0 offers several major improvements and additions, including:
Good Morning -
Been a while since my initial post, but when upgrading to 12.0.2, thought I'd take another shot at it. "ownCloud" isn't listed as a session / entry to add, however, it does support WebDAV connections so tried setting one of those up. I entered the URL and credentials; but when I clicked OK, it said I must specify a "Home directory" so I simply put in "/". When trying to connect, it did not work.
My Question / Issue
What would the default Home Directory be if you just want to go to the root and if "/" is correct, any idea why this wouldn't work? I've been able to connect to my ownCloud's WebDAV using a variety of basic methods before without issue.
Free ownCloud Account
I'd prefer not putting the URL for it here since it's for personal use only - but - I would be willing to create a dedicated account / user on my ownCloud site with a good chunk of space + great bandwidth if one or more Devolution devs or anyone in the community that writes plugins wishes to try some things out with it. If anyone gets a plugin or whatever to work, I wouldn't mind you keeping it for use if you wish. For those unfamilier, it's very similar to Dropbox / Google drive as it offers sync clients and a web interface - just better IMO and open source. Let me know.
Thanks!
UPDATE
I forgot to mention, my site is secured by a 3rd party SSL cert so did check the option to use SSL when attempting the WebDAV connection plus verified the port was 443. I also tried using both "/" and "\" for the Home and Root directories. Even though I didn't think it would make a difference, I tried removing "https://" from the beginning of the host address which is in the format of: "mysite.com/owncloud/remote.php/webdav". It's the same address I use with other WebDAV tasks and the reason behind it is discussed here. However, no matter how I configure it, once I open the session, the right side of the screen is blank. After a minute or so with no change, I click on the refresh button towards the top and an error message appears. Below is what it says:

This should be better in the next minor update.

Hi,
I think you forgot to add the attachment for the Chrome Console.
For Internet Explorer, a new version is available for the browser extension. https://devolutions.net/Home/BrowserExtensions

Hi,
My suggestion is to add group object that can automatically display items based on TAG or object type maybe.
Example:
I have under each physical server several child items - ILO, Guest Hosts, Software, ...
Then I would like the feature to be able to create folder which I can tell to contain dynamically all ILO object or objects with certain TAG
Nice, thank you !!
Hello,
Instead of using Security Groups, you can try our Role-based security system. It is possible to manage all permissions on each level and then allow disinheritance of permissions on a sub folder.
In the following example, the View permission has been set on the Company 1 folder to these roles : Administrators and Operators. The column Permissions in the Tree View shows the View permission settings only. Administrators has the Add, Edit and Delete permission on this folder.
On the Montreal folder, both of these roles have View, Add, Edit and Delete permissions.
So, a user that is a member of the Operators role can view, add, edit or even delete anything under the Montreal folder but can only view what's in the Company 1 folder.
I hope that will clarify our new Role-based security system. Let me know if you need more assistance.
Best regards,
Hi,
I've bee away for the week. I believe this is a true bug. The bug does not occur if I launch Chrome from RDM with login parameters for VMware's HTML5 vCloud Air site or their Director Flash site. No message pops up asking if I want to launch an external application. The bug, ie. RDM being totally locked up, occurs when I launch the RDM profile using the embedded Chrome. Maybe the fix is just "Don't do that", but it seems to be some sort of problem with the interaction between RDM and a Chrome alert message. If check the box, "Remember my choice", then RDM sometimes freezes up, but I then I can't directly pin the cause on the request to run the external application.
I say it's a Chrome alert message, but I get the impression that RDM is replicating Chrome's alert messages since the embedded version of Chrome has no GUI. So, regarding this specific alert message, titled: "Protocol handler", saying "Chrome needs to launch an external application, .... do you want to launch the application?", if I respond right away, there is no problem. If I go off and use another app, and come back after 5 minutes, RDM is locked up, i.e. clicking on the Yes or No button does nothing, and/or RDM won't respond to anything. I have to close RDM and re-start it. RDM also locks up if vCloud Director initiates a login on it's own after 20 or 30 minutes, pops up an alert asking again if it is OK to launch the external application, and I don't respond to the alert, then RDM is locked up when I return to RDM.

Hello,
Could you send us your configuration file at support@devolutions.net.
Follow the instuctions in this help topic to send it without your data source configuration.
http://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/howto_configurationfile.htm
Also a screenshot of the display tab of one of your RDP session would greatly help us to reproduce your issue, thank you.
Best regards,
Hi,
I think that I know what could be the bug. I will have fix for the next version.

Just as I thought worked fine on Windows 7 PC to download and install. So I copied it over and installed on Windows 10. Must be something in this causing the issue and will keep an eye on it. Also submit it as possible bug to Feedback Hub in Windows 10.
I was having the same issue although I was able to get the download link to work. This is the URL I got when clicking the link:
I'm running Windows 10 Enterprise Insider Preview (Build 14971.rs_rerelease.161111-1700). Was using Chrome was well for my browser.
Hi!
I just installed RDM 12, but I cannot find the new ACL system to allow or deny the "reveal-password-feature" for certain groups. The only butten, I could find, was the button "reveal for everyone"
How can I use that feature?

Depuis notre migration aujourd’hui de RDM 9 à RDM 11.7.6.0 nous avons des messages « outofmemoryexception » lors de l’edition d’une connexion ou d’un groupe [voir message log ci-dessous]. Auriez-vous une explication ?
