Hi,
we would request OTP as a security-feature for RDM.
why?
our staff is most time at our customers-company so we need to use offline-mode.
problem in security we see in future:
when the notebook gets stolen or a collegue leaves our company and the notebook gets no connection to
our AD-Infrastructure he will always have access to the sensitive data from RDM cached on HDD.
So we will request to integrate OTP - OneTimePassword
In RDM-Server we define Validity-Duration of OT-Password and when Staff wants to use
Offline-Mode he/she has to request a OTP through E-Mail or maybe SMS (through 3rd-party?) to get access to RDM Offline-Mode.
So when User got deactivated in AD or got kicked from RDM-Groups, there will be no Offline-Mode for that User and Data in RDM will stay save.
Is that possible to integrate?
