Hi Hubert,
I worked with Solarwinds over the last few months to solve an issue with dameware's command line (DWRCC). Solarwinds will release a new version in the upcoming weeks that should get these corrections.
After testing this new dameware beta version against RDM I've found that the error message "Unable to install the client agent" is probably being caused by RDM.
I've done the following test:
- Added a new RDM Damware Mini Remote Control session. Each time it opens I get the "Unable to install the client agent".
- Added a command line session to the same host. On the Run field I've added the following: "c:\Program Files\SolarWinds\DameWare Mini Remote Control 11.0 x64\DWRCC.exe" -c: -h -m:xx.xx.xx.xx -x: -u:username -p:password -a:2. When I open the connection I'm able to connect to the host without any error message.
Can you check if there's an issue with the RDM builtin Dameware session?
Regards,
Rafael
