In demonstrating the capabilities of the Password Vault Manager for Enterprise, the question came up of how to selectively share an entry with another user in the organization so that they can have temporary access to the entry. (i.e. Web account)
Is there a method that a user can share/give temporary access to the account (as in access to Log in, to the web account - but NOT the ability to visibly see the password)? As similar to how the software works right now with having access to the entry, a basic user can open the URL, and with the browser add-on, the user is able to log in automatically, and not having to expose the actual password. It appears that the only means of giving/granting access (from the basic access up to admin access) is only through an administrator who can grant a group access, or add a user to a group - allow them access to an entry, and then manually removing them from accessing the entry. Am I correct?
Also, the closest I have found in the user manual as for "sharing", is a multi-step process, where the person who has access to the entry will have to "Export" the entry to a file, attach the file to an email and send it to the user. In testing this process, it does supply the user the information, (and with the password to unlock the HTML file), it also gives access for the user to the password.
The reason I ask, is that this did come up during a demonstration to our C-level management, and with a few other vendors, it has been easy to find this feature for allowing access/sharing and various levels of sharing - quickly based on the user - and we are curious as to where they may exist for Password Vault.
Any assistance able to be provided would be greatly appreciated. Also, please advise if more information/clarification is necessary.
