I use RDM to log in to remote machines via RD Gateway. Credentials for the destination are kept in LastPass; credentials for the RDG machine are kept in a local credential.
After some random period, starting a session fails with a 4625 error on the target machine. Login to the RDG machine is just fine. Security error 4625 is a login error; the details in the log say it's a bad password or userid.
The passwords and userids are correct in LastPass. The same credentials can be used to login via the Windows 8.1-level RDP client, the iOS RDP client and the Mac OS X client.
Restarting Windows resolves this problem until it randomly appears again.
I would guess this has something to do with RDM's failure to pull the correct userid and password from LastPass but since it isn't a crash, I am not sure of this.
You should know that I have a very large LastPass store as I have multiple clients' credentials stored in it. It wouldn't surprise me if this is an out-of-memory problems since a reboot appears to fix it.
Thx.
