Topic "Yubikey and LastPass" a message from Marc Becker

Hi,

I'm evaluating Remote Desktop Manager for our IT department.

Actually we are using LastPass Enterprise and Yubikey for storing and sharing credentials.

Now I've created a test data source (MySQL) with users and security groups. Logged in as a user without administrative privileges I want to add credentials from my lastpass account.

There are two things that don't work as expected:
  • I can't choose yubikey for two factor authentication (also for users with administrative privileges). Only Google Authenticator is available. Adding Yubikey as needed for application start in security settings works as expected.
  • I deactivated the policy for forcing two factor authentication and still get the message, that the credentials are not right. While debugging the application (thanks for that nice feature) I found out, that Remote Desktop Manager is connecting to lastpass enterprise as a mobile application. Our policies for lastpast enterprise are not allowing connecting from any mobile device. The access has to be granted by an administrator.

From our mobile phones we have to do a login, call the administrator and tell him a security id. This ID can be found in the enterprise console and has to be explicitly activated. Remote Desktop Manager connects as a mobile device but no new ID is generated (tried dozen times and still no new id on the dashboard).

Can you please tell me how to activate yubikey in two factor authentication for credentials and check your api to lastpass. I think there must be missing something, because no Security ID is generated.

Please let me know if further informations are nedded.

Kind reagrds,

Marc Becker
