Topic "limits" a message from zjayz

Hi I am just wondering if there are any limits/design considerations when moving alot of data into RDM.
We are looking to purchase and transfer our knowledge base from sharepoint to RDM as its a lot more efficient for how we work.
Are there and hard coded limits or best practices?
Is there ever a need to use multiple sql databases?
Just want to get this right first time rather than transferring everything and chancing it becoming slow.
