Hi folks

As we plan to manage a hell lot of items in our RDM we can't find a way to design a structure which is role-based, customer-type-sorted and task-based at the same time. So I came up with the idea of the term dynamic group.

Example: Different type of customers and environments use a specific type of firewall product which has to be updated one and then. As it is possible at the moment to search all entries for specific tags (for example &quotFirewall Product X&quot, this already helps a lot) I think it would be really cool to be able to add a dynamic group, which lists all sessions which we define by setting a specific filter like the one we're already using when searching. When configured this dynamic group will contain only sessions with the tag &quotFirewall Product X&quot.

So these dynamic groups could reside under the normal &quotAll Entries&quot Tab in an own main tree called &quotDynamic groups&quot. Probably with a slightly different default icon so there is no mix up with the &quotnormal&quot groups. Further, these dynamic folders shouldn't contain any static object - only populated by the filter setting on the folder.
