Topic "Toggle keyboard capture for Windows key, alt+tab" a message from Justin Garrison

I would love to see if there is a way to allow toggling of often used keys without using the RDP in full screen. I often want to use the windows key, alt+tab etc on the remote server but not always. Being able to toggle this would be great.

This feature is available under the connection settings -> Local resources -> keyboard but that requires editing the connection and logging off/on from the server. It would be great to have this feature on the fly.

At the same time there is also a magnet icon in the bottom right that says &quotgrab keyboard input&quot that I thought would toggle this but it doesn't appear to change any behavior for me. I'm not sure what it is meant for.

If a toggle is not possible I have two possible alternate solutions that would work

1. Allow alternate keyboard combinations to send through to the host (e.g. Shift+Win = Remote Win, Alt+Shift+Tab = remote Alt+Tab)
2. Allow toggling a windowed connection to full screen. This would be best implemented IMO like browsers handle tabs where you can &quottear off&quot a tab from the current window to make it it's own window. Doing that would be great for side-by-side connections without having to close and re-connect to the server. This would allow the keyboard shortcuts to be sent in fullscreen mode but not windowed mode and could easily be toggled by changing view modes.
